Idaho Lottery officials have confirmed there was a $2,000,000 winning Powerball ticket sold for last night’s draw at a retail location in Bonner County.

For security reasons, the Idaho Lottery does not disclose the location of winning tickets until after they are claimed.

"But we do know that it was sold in Bonner County at an officially licensed Idaho Lottery retailer," Lottery spokesman David Workman said.

The winning Powerball numbers for the draw were 7, 23, 24, 56, and 60. The Powerball number was 25. The winning ticket matched all five of the first numbers, but not the Powerball.

"Idaho continues to be a lucky place for players to win big prizes," said Jeff Anderson, Idaho Lottery Director. "We are encouraging everyone who played Powerball for last night’s draw to check their tickets carefully for winners. Too often we see players not match the Powerball number and think they do not have a winning ticket. In this case, the ticket matched all five of the first numbers and is worth $2 million."

The Idaho Lottery encourages everyone to sign their winning tickets before presenting them for payment. Last night’s winner has 180 days to claim their prize from Idaho Lottery headquarters in Boise.
