PREP LACROSSE ROUNDUP: Sandpoint boys notch double-digit win against ICA

BUTTE — Lucas Garrison and Kostas Bauck had two goals each as the Bulldogs fell to Pocatello at Montana Tech University’s Bob Green Field this past Friday.

Sandpoint put up four of their six goals in the third quarter, but the Bandits responded with seven goals in the fourth. Sawyer Treadaway had six groundballs, Lucas Mahlun two assists for Sandpoint. Ryan Doko had 31 saves in goal.

POST FALLS — Blayne Kanning had four goals, Kostas Bauck three goals and three assists, as Sandpoint handily defeated Immaculate Conception Academy on Tuesday.

The Bulldogs scored 15 of their 16 goals in the first three quarters and compiled a total of 50 shots on goal. In addition to Bauck and Kanning’s performances, Braden Buckhout and Austin Waud had two goals apiece. Wylie Wimmer had six groundballs, Sawyer Treadaway and Dallen Adam five each.

Sandpoint (3-8) travels to Mead today.

SPOKANE — Rowan Davis was impressive, scoring a game-high five goals for the Bulldogs in a loss to the Stealth at the Dwight Merkel Complex on Monday.

Cecilia Dignan had a team-high four groundballs, Davis, Eva Sloan, Grace Gavin, and Abigail Baker three each. Besides Davis, Cassidy Aitken was the only other Sandpoint player to record both a goal and an assist.

Sandpoint (6-3) played their last game Wednesday at Mt. Spokane High against Mead. Results will be reported at a later date.
